Love that stance.  It tells the whole story at a glance.  The surroundings look great also, with the golden sand and rocks, the dark green seas and the beautiful blue sky with clouds.  Nicely captured, Richard.

Beautifully timed, and so sharp for an action shot!  Well composed with the boy following the rule of thirds and looking into the frame. I wondered whether it would have been improved if the entire fishing rod had been visible but then decided no, definitely not -- it would have had to be father away and thus lost the immediacy that gives this photo its impact.

A wonderful pose on the youngster, Richard.A very evocative image, though I probably wouldn't have guessed S. Africa.
