is relax, enjoy, and immerse myself in the natural world.  Here I am catching some of the last sun's rays on a wonderfully warm fall day in the yard of our Montana home.  (5D3, 24-70 f2.8 @ 50mm, 1/20s, f/13, iso 400, tripod and 10s timer)

Oh Mark,
10 second timer - Hey Man your working to hard to push a button and get to your chair and put on your relaxed face in 10s - Wheeeee - Seems like 30 seconds would be a more relaxed pace.  enlightened

Great shot and well executed, take 5 . . .devil

That's the kind of portrait I like!  It tells much more than just a head shot.   ... although what's on your head (that gray and white stuff) does give us a hint as to what your occupation is.  Whenever people ask me what my job is, I always answer "I have the best job in the world -- RETIREMENT!"  Great to see you enjoying your "job" in style (and still being productive, making images the rest of us can enjoy).  :D

Looks like you managed to drift off inthat 10s, Mark!  I can certainly relate to this one and you have alovely backdrop.  The bunchgrass behind you looks nice and healthy.
