'By The Light'

'By The Light' is two images from the same evening on 6/2/15. I had set up beside a small pond to get some shots of the full moon rising when this Dragonfly showed up to keep me company. Since I was unable to capture a satisfactory shot of the DF and the Moon together, I decided to create my on. Two image stack with treatment in Topaz Simplify 4, Canon 7D Mark II with two different lens (EF100mm f/2.8L Macro IS USM for the Dragonfly and EF70-200mm f/2.8L IS II USM for the Moon) , Tripod, Remote Release.

Looks like a male Widow Skimmer to me, Mike.  The composite works very well and the colors really pop.  The full moon partially in the frame has me wondering how cropping most of the space on the right of the reeds would look but I do like the spaciousness as presented.
