Sherrard Pt, Mt Ranier

Sunrise. Sherrard point atop Larch Mountain, near my home in Corbett OR.  It's an easy to reach viewpoint to all the surrounding Cascade volcanic peaks.  Up to get a shot of Mt Hood, but no clouds so pretty boring.  Mt Ranier is ~200 miles away but was a more interesting subject.

Love the layers of ridges in the foreground plus their contrast with Rainer and the warm sky.  A lovely pano, Dan, that really catches the character of the area with the volcanoes standing so much above the surrounds.

Love the pano and light. Just the right amount of detail in the foreground ridges to give this depth. Larch Mountain is a really beautiful hike.

Hi Daniel, a beautiful composition and excellent atmosphere with the blues of the distant hills giving a wonderful counterbalance to the light from the sunrise ...

Cheers, Mark

Very nice layers, composition, and color. The pano crop is perfect for this, Daniel.
