Tougher shooting once the sun comes up hard, but you do what you can do.
Yellow Warbler female, myrtle tree perch. Settings probably not the best as it moved in & out of the sunlight. A bit slow on the draw again.. F/5.6, 1/1000th, ISO 500, 5DM2, 300mm f/2.8 + 2x ext. @ 9:38am

, cheers, Hans
Great eye contact, looks good to me despite the challenging lighting. By the way, I don't think is an Orange-crowned Warbler, it's too bright yellow, my guess is either female Yellow or Wilson's Warbler.

She really stands out in the larger version, Howard. Nice pose with lots of potential energy and great eye cntact. Good job handling the harsher light.
I always like natural backgrounds that show the environment, wether or not it's busy. You seem to do a fine job working under the canopy of growth in difficult lighting conditions. Getting a catch light in the eye in this situation really sets this off for me. Well done!
Like him peeking out into the light Howard. Nice framing of the green leaves too. Excellent work. Ray
Interesting pose, and you've done well handling the difficult light.
I've looked at this a number of times and my feeling is that it is a Wilson's Warbler. The greenish tones to the back seem better for Wilson's than for Yellow, and the lack of any hint of red streaking on the breast also rules out Yellow.
