Natural Abstract

Was drawn to the flow of the ribbon-like seaweed with the golden touch in the center.  Taken with Canon SX50, F/4, 1/40 sec., ISO 400 on a beach in PEI during an amazing sunset.

Thank you for your comments and suggestions.  Hope you enjoy.

The various orange tones here make a fine image, Patricia.  The textural contrast between the seaweed and the sand works well also.  Nicely seen.

Ditto what Mark has said, I really couldn't say it any better.. Where was this BTW?

The sand is fine grained, very clean, and the wonderful light makes it almost 'shine'.

Pleasing abstract Patricia, enjoyed the visitcrying

Well seen and captured.  I love the multiple shades of the same color and the contrasting textures...slick and gritty.  This is just lovely.  I've never been to Prince Edward Island.

Very artisitic take on seaweed, Patricia. Looks like a flower with a golden center, orange petals, and a dark stem trailing off to the left. The seaweed flower is nicely framed by the sand.

Lovely.  The warm light is perfect for bringing out the richer color of the seaweed.  Looks like a cake decoration (I must be getting hungry)  Nicely done

I like the comp and the variety of textures. The warm colors and sunset light are beautiful.

A nice nearly monochromatic image. The golden light adds a lovely touch to the photo.

Patricia ...wonderful capture...print it off and hang it in the wall and this will look 3D. Beautiful piece of work.

Patricia: Oh this is excellent! Don't know how many times I've walked along a beach and seen something like this and just passed by. Good vision, good photography. >=))>
