Tom, can't say I recall this mountain range from my travels all over Alaska in the late 60's. But, it looks like a truly fun outing here including the summer vegetation scattered all over. Another neat travelog shot from this wonderful state.....laugh

Paul:

The Tekosha's are a small granitic group of peaks sandwiched between The Ruth and Tokositna Glaciers on the East side of Denali.   Next time I will take my tripod... Because of the nature of the landing area and altitude I wanted the plane as light as possible for my first landing/takeoff there.

Cheers:  Tom

Here, I was expecting to see a dog running in the mid-ground. enlightened  Love all the colors in the land, great textures in the rocks, and the red airplane for some added interest.  (Red was a classic National Geographic approach to getting extra pop in an image.)

Dang...just landing after scouting the 'runway' alone would be an adventure.   Goodness ...one knobby boulder would flip it ...for an extended stay.  Great colors and foreground details.
