Yellow Coneflower

I was able to visit a small fen and tall grass prairie in Saoutheast Minnesota this week.  The prairie was fantastic, but the weather was not cooperative with lots of rain and wind.  This was one of the better yellow coneflowers (Ratbida pinnata) that was finishing up its bloom cycle.  K5 IIs 600mm f5.6 + 1.4TC +32mm extension (1/100sec at f16, ISO 640).Levels, Topaz Detail, TK's LM (Expanded Midtones), Dfine2 on Bg............................Jim
