9 commentsThe Cardinal really stands out here. It is not oversaturated but with the really dark BG it almost seems as if it is. The bird is sharp. The largest image looks very nice on my larger monitor.
Hi Mike,
I have been waiting to get a descent shot of a male cardinal. I usually reun into ones more beat up thanthis poor male. Color is nice and hope that you can get this one after the plumage grows back in...............................Jim
A battle hardened Cardinal, one of the trouble maker class I see around here all the time
The bold reds of the card really pop on this BG Mike..
Excellent details & I like the sharply raised crest.. He's lookin' to make trouble again
Very nice!
Nice dark background making the Cardinal stand out so well. Excellent Mike, Ray
He looks a bit fed up. What a colour, I wish we had such colourful birds here in the UK. That dark background really makes him stand out. Graham
Wonderful detail and glorious color in this one, Mike. I like the dark bg.
The contrast between your subject and dark BG really makes this one pop off the page Mike. nice job!
