A pretty common bird, but they do have character.
7Dii, Sigma 150-600 Contemporary lens, f/8, 1/640, iso 640, aperture priority, pattern metering, no compensation. Processed in LR5 & CS6. I took some off the left to decenter the bird then added canvas to the top and right and filled using content-aware fill followed by some clean-up. Final image size is 20.2 MP. Nice and sharp. I like the brightness of the robin and the blurred BG. Your post-processing looks good and I like the composition................Jim
Fine detail. Well framed, but seems a bit bright.
Nice shot, Dennis, although there's a lot of wear on the feathers. What's the horizontal line through the bird's eye?
Nice subject, perch and b/g on this Dennis, but I thought the same as Phil when I first say it. The robin seems a bit bright to me.
Yes, they are so often overlooked, but I too find them appealing, particularly the immatures. I like the pose and perch, and the smooth background is lovely. Techs are spot on as well Dennis.
