Two of my favorite things are hiking and photography. This is a picture my 10 year old daughter took of me while we were out hiking a little section of the Appalachian Trail. I am an amature photographer who loves being outdoors in nature. I just recently learned about this group and decided to join so I could learn from all of you and hopefully find a way to make my own small contribution.

Welcome to NPN. You can learn a lot here, I have. One of the best ways to learn is to comment on other images. As I looked at other images and tried to figure out what I like about them or what did not draw me, I helped me to become more critical of my own images.
