First, HAPPY CANADA DAY to my neighbors to the north. USA's Independence Day is also coming up, on July 4th, which made me think about Red, White and Blue.
Well, maybe it's more like magenta, white and blue, but that's pretty close for wild flowers. I really enjoyed these multi-colored wild lupines at a pitch pine/scub oak sand plain, preserved by local and state agencies, not far from my house. (A rare habitat, due to agriculture and fire suppression, and home to several rare species, like the endangered Karner blue butterfly, whose larvae feed only on these plants.)

The Lupine is beautiful and I love the soft colors in the bg. Very nicely done, Wayne!
Gorgeous flowers captured with crispness against a lovely multi-coloured backdrop, Wayne. The composition, with the flower tips leaning into the frame centre, is just right. Beautiful image !
