I tried shooting with iso 64 here and the level of detail is pretty amazing - what looks like grain are actually individual cells.

This is a fine abstract look at these petals, Mark.  The fan shape that you've created with this comp. looks very good.

Yeah... nice!   The magic of cameras is getting closer and seeing things that would not be noticed without the ability to macro-up like this.   Shapes, colors, and details all work well in this.

Great shot. One small suggestion. Either in shooting the image or in post processing, I'd get rid of the little strip of white seen in the lower left-hand corner. For me, it is a small distraction.

In addition to the details and the semi-abstract graphic design, I am enjoying your lighting on this, revealing the translucency of the petals.

Lovely swathes of abstract colour and lines, Mark.   Excellent composition and a nice, subtle sense of the petal textures.

Mark - Many of the petals display crystalline structure - that can be seen when a macro lens is used under the right lighting as you have here. Love the graphic quality to this with many lines and forms.

Mark: I like to dabble with low ISO when conditions are right and like what you have here. I especially like the light and color palette. 2 thumbs up! >=))>
