Ctenucha are also known as wasp moths are commonly found in meadows and fields.  This afternoon's soft lighting enabled me to capture the metallic blue color on the abdomen.  The perch is a common milkweed leaf.  K5 IIs 180mm f3.5 (1/100sec at f11, ISO 640) Full frame, exposure...........................................Jim

This is a great look at this moth, Jim.  The blue irridescence shows very well.  I always enjoy the feathery details in a moth's antennae and this image really shows that off.
