I took this while home with the flu back in April. Natural back lighting.

Nice lighting that shows off the detail of the center of the lily against the softer folds of the petals. Excellent!

Excellent. You caught all the flower parts in focus (pretty much) against the soft, back lit petals. My personal preference would be for a touch more sharpening, but I admit the soft look of this is very attractive.

Mark - This is excellent. Love the light coming from the throat of the flower and how the f/22 got all the anthers in focus. Color combination is really appealing as well.

Mark: I love looking into the insides of day lilies so this gets high marks from me. Wonderful color and light especially. Most excellent. >=))>
PS: How do you like the 77-II? I have the original and am contemplating upgrading.

A very creative take on the lily centre, Mark. Unusual - and very effective - to see the stamens straight on; they stand out beautifully against the radiant petal backdrop. Like this a lot !!

I love this type of photos with transparences and colors extracted by the back light. Everything looks well to me.
