co-conspirator to the little fellow I posted previously. I think she is giving him the "Go ahead and do it now" glance as people moved in underneath the little trickster. This troupe is known for it's shenanigans and theft at the swim beach in Manuel Antonio NP near Quepos, Costa Rica.

Canon 7Dii, Canon 400 2.8 w/1.4 ext ISO6400 1/800 @ f8 PP LR4

Thanks for looking and any coments you may have.

Love the uplifted angle to her stare and the quizzical expression.  Nice and sharp, uncluttered background with great subject.

You did a really nice job exposing and processing to keep the brightness without blowing out the whites on your subject.  The upward looking profile pose is engaging, too.  In a perfect world, I guess, I would wish to not have the lines of that background stem angled so directly into the eyes, but it is a minor nit.

Excellent detail here Neil, I might crop above the out of focus limb on the bottom of the frame. devil

Hi Neil,

I'm with the others in liking the upward-looking profile (making the little devil look even more mischievious), the image detail, and lighting on the subject. I'm often not a fan of square crops, but I think in this case it works well. While nicely isolated from the soft background, the uneven lighting and colour in the background does leave it somewhat chaotic and distracting (at least to my eye), but there's obviously nothing you could have done about that (so consider that a "if only I had a perfect world" comment!).

Cheers...

Brad
