Reminds me of something out of a forties musical. Maybe I should have followed Phil's lead and titled it Fred & Ginger. Actually it reminds me of Danny Kaye and Bing Crosby doing the "Sisters" number in "White Christmas". I almost lost it when I saw them take these poses.
The male Western Bluebird was holding station on this perch most of yesterday evening and the female would come up periodically to join him. I'm pretty sure she's sitting on eggs in one of our nearby boxes.
7Dii, 500mm f4 ISL + 1.4TC, Jobu Gimbal on RRS legs, f/9, 1/1250, iso 800, aperture priority, center weighted average metering, +2/3 ev compensation. Processed in LR5 & CS6. I added some more exposure in LR and did minor tweaks in CS. Cropped to 9.3MP. Taken in my backyard at 8:14 pm yesterday.
Your comments would be very much appreciated.

4 commentsA wonderfil capture, Dennis. Excellent background and composition, but the poses make the shot.
Very cool image Dennis. One of my favorites from you lately. I like how this shows off some of the personality these little birds. Good job on the techs on this as well.
Over the top cute.
