Kidepo valley in Uganda, great place, we were following few girafes for a while, I saw one was faster then others and will soon catch them and in one moment they just get in line. Would prefer some better head position of third one but you have to accept what you get, with wildlife.

5 commentsVery interesting capture. These guys (gals) really stand out from the background. It's interesting to compare heh color differences in the three. The center giraffe is lighter than the other two.Do I detect a need for a slight CW rotation? Nice capture.
Gorazd,
Nice to see somebody else visiting Arica's most beautiful park.
Rothschild's giraffe are supposedly rare, but the reintroduction into Kidepo has worked very well, the last time I was there in February numbers were comfortably up and there were many pregnant females.
Although the angles are not perfect I do not think it distracts from the image.
Cool lineup. In a perfect world, one might want an additional sliver of separation between them...but I agree this works fine and is visually compelling. The dark spot top right corner feels like a sensor dust spot to me, and I would erase it... Thanks for sharing a fine capture.
A neat line-up, Gorazd. Nice compositon as well.
Thank you for all the comments. Yes it is great park, so peaceful and remote. Not as many animals like some other well known parks but wonderful expirience.
