These guys are becoming an obsession. Lukily they have been really accomodating. The weather here in Texas has been rainy and overcast. Today was no different, but I did manage a few good images. I can't wait till the rains move on and the nice light returns.

Processed using Lightroom 5 and Photoshop CC 2014. Comments and critiques welcome.

Hi Jerry,

I like this one better than your first post.  The high key presentation is wonderful and I like the head turn on this birddevil........................Jim

A nicely regalpose. The high key is interesting. I'd like a little mroe differentiation between thebird and the sky, especially in the area around the back of the head. But overall, very nice management of a tough exposure.

Beautiful pose, Jerry.  It really works well with the perch.   You might think about bringing out that glorious red eye just a bit.

Jerry: it's another "what's not to like about a solid image"? I like the high key b/g because it is very effective in focusing attention on the bird in this case. My only minor nit would be to dodge around the eye a bit. Richard
