Osteospermum 1

Hi all.

I was lucky to find some great osteospermum plants early this year, so I have been making lots of osteospermum shots already.  This was one of  my early favorites.

Any and all thoughts appreciated.

A nice abstract work Nathan. You got beautiful colours spread across the frame.

Masterful, Nathan. Your osteospermum images are always superb, but this one is among your very best. devil

Great choice of composition - the very small focus point works very well with those marvelous soft colors!

This is very pretty and has abstract all day, which I like. I don't normally like foreground blur, but it really works well in this image.

Nathan - Your signature shot. Love the pastel shade and the real shallow DOF. My small quibble is that petal around 10'o clock position coming over the main yellow flower.

I love the beautiful soft colors that fill the frame.  Very nicely done, Nathan!

Beautiful! I agree with Ram about the petal coming in on the top left, but this is beautiful none the less. Great use of super-shallow DOF.

Well composed, excellent blend of colors. "Rat perty!" Just enough detail to anchor it in reality with enough leading lines swirling to the focus.cool

Nathan, I prefer this one than your second post. Love the light and color palette. I might try applying a bit blur on the petal in the ULC. Very beautiful work!
