Harley,....sweet !! I did a shot like this in Utah years ago too......it did not look near as nice as this one...
Seems just a tad bright on my monitor, maybe a point or two of gamma lower. Regardless, a good looking collection here...

HI Harley,
This is a very nice study of rocks on rock. The balance is really nice, and the color tone difference between the rock piles and the rock those piles lay on is just right. I like Paul's idea of binging down the brightness just a tad, but sweet vision and capture.
As a tiny nit, I am a bit drawn to the crack in the rock in the upper right hand corner. I am not sure how you feel about that line, but my eye kind oif sticks to it just a bit.

I like the simplicity of both composition and color palette. Sometimes you need to look down!

Now that's a fitting title! Lovely scene with all the different shades of brown. Very calming.

I agree with Alberto, your picture reminds me to look for the simplicity because it's nicer. I like the tone balance and the idea of small rocks supported by the big one that looks powerfull.

Nice arrangemant Mr H. I wish I could pay attention to what's at my feet instead of what's in the sky.

Nice find Harley. I like how the crack running through the frame ties all the rocks tgether.

Oh man, I love it. Large version is really sweet. Did you find it like this or did it involve a little arranging? It looks very natural. Beautiful subtle coloration and nice contrast bvetween the rocks and stone. Well done Harley.

Harley, this is a beautifult detail shot! It's a pleasant arrangement of small rocks, and the crack in the large rock holds them all together. Great work!

Looks like someone has been playing Mancala. This is a wonderfully gentle and very meditative view, Harley.

Exquisite and intimate still life, Harley. I like how the cracks, particularly in the UR, set off and enhance the rest of the image.

Good vision and execution. When I see images like this it challenges me to see better as a photographer. I agree that it's a bit bright for my taste but that's my opinion and easily adjusted if you choose.
