Crater Elephant

Unfortunately we did not find any of the large bulls, but the dull light and flowers hopefully give this a different feel.

Taken in Ngorongoro Crater, Tanzania.

Nice colors, Ken.  The lovely carpet of flowers provides some good color and textural contrast to the background.  I suppose I might've liked the placement of the elephant further left in the frame, but it's a fine shot.

Ken: this one has to be seen large to really appreciate it. The bull elephant standing quietly in a field of flowers evokes calmess and serenity. It has a very appealing blue and yellow color palette and spot on composition. Were it mine, I'd print it big and hang it in a prominent place. Congrats!! Richard

This is really nice. The bull really jumps out at you in teh larger version. A bull elephant standing in wild flowers. What's not to like. Well done.

I agree with Richard and Jerry.  The strength of this is in its simplicity and rich color palette.

Hello Ken

I think the placement is best possible placing and colours are very pleasing.
