This is the first sunrise from my two week trip into the local Utah desert. I thought this was a great way to start off the jouney. C&C welcome and thanks for looking.

Looks like a terrific start to me, too. The subtle colors are wonderful and sense of depth is great.

I was in Canyonlands at the end of March and have yet to get to processing any images due to a serious backlog of stuff from the last several months. This is very evocative of the vistas in the park, the pre-dawn light and the layering of the canyon walls. I also like the clouded up mountains in the distance. Would love to see a larger version to appreciate the detail in the cliff faces. I hope I find some images as good as this on my hard drive!

Beautiful composition, colors under a wonderful light in the sky. I've never went there but out of all the pictures that I saw this one reaches me. I would certainly appreciated a large one!

At first I thought the strong color cast was a bit too strong for me, but I must say it grew on me. It adds that pre-sunrise feeling. Wonderful twilight scene!

Real nice dreamy look to this one. The warm tones and hazy look work well. Good start to your desert sojourn.

THi Jeff,
The haze really works well in creating a subtle beauty in this image. I really enjoy the layers of red in the canyon, and the mellow pinks/magentas up top complete this image beautifully.
I dig it
