White-throated Sparrow

I visited the Black Swamp Bird Observatory east of Toledo today.  Lots of birds, but way too many people.  Once the place filled up, the birds were less cooperative. This is a significant crop  for a bird lost in a tangle of branches. I did not remove any orphaned branches and adjusted shadows and highlights and brightness. Nice detail and a great pose, Jim.  Noise is showing a fair amount in the larger version.  Did you run any noise reduction?

Nice work in a very busy environment, Jim.

The noise issue is an easy fix. The softening of the tail and the lower part of the perch caught my eye, but realy is a minor nit. Nice work.

Jim,

Very nice shot right down to the catch light in the eye.  Wonder how it would look if you cropped out a few of the OOF branches and the one on his tail.  devil

Nice look at the WC, held up well in spite of the significant crop..

I like the filtered light, looks like he puffed up his chest for the shot tooenlightened
