I thought I would post a shot from Nome showing a bit of the habitat and surroundings. Nome is the only place I know of where you can photograph Black-bellied Plover and both Golden Plovers (Pacific and American) within the same day on their breeding grounds. This is full frame except for a small crop from the bottom.

Nome & Alaska in general's one of those places I've often day-dreamed about, but it's at 99.9% that I'll never make it there..

Lovely habitat shot, Nate. I thinkI'd be tempted to take most of the sky out of the top. My eye keeps getting drawn upward. I experimented with scrolling the larger version and taking most of the sky off seemed to work fix the issue.
