Was trying for wildflower photos at Funks Grove in central Illinois, but it was much too windy, when 2 antique autos drove by. I followed then to the parking lot and got the OK from the drivers to photograph the cars as they came back down the road. Unfortunately it was about 11:45 and the light was somewhat harsh. But, I like the nostalgic look of the old autos.

Great catch, John. I wonder, though, were people 100 years ago all that smaller than they are today?
Thanks for bringing me back in time. Only critique - have the people in the car dress in clothing of the time. Would be a good subject for some artistic software to give it more of a vintage feel.
Great scene you managed in this image John,
There is however a rather large Gap between these two vehicles not only in space but also in time.
In today's driving conditions, it is hard to imagine the pristine, peaceful feeling of a Sunday drive through the country side waving at neighbors on your way to a family picnic when this image would be considered a traffic jam.
