First light on one of my favorite places on earth.  It was a beautiful morning to wake up to  this scene from camp.

This is perfect light to bring out the amazing structures in the rocks. Can't think of anything that could improve this beauty!

Beautiful light and sweet study of lines and shadows. The warm light works very well. Surprised it is not a B&W! sad  But the color really works here.

Given the textures and subtle colors you're showing here, Gary, it's easy to understand your opening sentence.  The textures here are wonderful.  I especially like the switch from horizontal lines along the bottom to the vertical lines in the top 3/4ths plus the light is just wonderful.

Gary, I agree with the others...the light on this scene is wonderful. Your comp works great and I enjoy the softness of the color. The shadows add some very nice depth as well. Nice Work!

Incredible Gary! Great light to bring out the structures and the patterns. Beautiful warm light. Though the colors version works well here and I also really like it I can image that this might also be a great black and white.

Gary, your state has many sites that fall into this category for me, this just happens to be one of them. This particular image shares the chamber of commerce poster look for the region. The side lighting is absolutely the best for capturing the multitude of erosive hillside fins IMO.

That's a real winner Gary. The subtle color and light on that marvelous texture is breathtaking. Kudos!

Absolutely stunning image, Gary.  The flow of those far landforms appear almost like drapery gracefully cascading down from above onto the land below.  Incredible.  The larger image is a jaw dropper in my opinion.  I can only imagine what a large print must look like.

One of my top favorites from your images, Gary. An amazing kind of flow to my eye, and I appreciate your careful treatment of colors a lot.
