Handsome Glider

Caught this handsome guy at the local lake. I liked the curved wings and the frozen action. I also liked the fact that you can see water droplets on the belly. I have noticed this before on flying ducks. It is amazing that these drops stay on considering the speed these guys are traveling.

Processed using Lightroom 5 and Photoshop CC 2014. Comments and critiques welcome.

Quite an achievement, considered how fast these guys can speed by... Hats off ! Cheers, Hans

Sweet flight shot, Jerry.  Excellent work keeping up with one of these fast flyers.

A very nice shot of a common but very handsome bird. I agree with you completely about the curved wings and frozen action. There's a lot detail as well. Congrats on this very nice shot.

Nice clean, sharp flight image Jerry. techs look great on this. I usually like the wings up or down, but it is nice to see a different wing position like this.

Very nice light, interesting wing position he looks like he's suspended in mid air. devil
