My Florida Spring Break Tour has different and unique activities displayed by the local wildlife each year, this year there was an unusual amount of Ospreys competing for the prime fishing perches and nesting locations. It made for some great photo opportunities for me and my guest. This male was ready to dislodge the female from her perch but, she had other plans and he moved on. Hand held, 85% of full frame with canvas added to one side of the image.

Good story and the picture shows the action.  I like that you were able to maintain the whites -- difficult when birds are directly facing the sun.

Mike,

Wonderful action catch.  Is the yellow on their bellies natural?  It seems a bit distracting.  Wonder how it would look toned down.

Sorry I missed the trip this year.  Bet it was special.  Perhaps next year.  devil

Great action, Mike.  Neat to get both eyes.

Mike this is a fine shot of these two Osprey's.  You've got some fine action and clear eyes on both birds.  I do belive I recognize that perch. enlightened

Great catch of the action Mike! The blue sky looks very natural. The details appear very sharp, sweet scene. devil

Hey Mike, I really like the action in this one a lot. Very cool scene. I do think there might be a little bit of a yellow color cast on the Osprey...something I might expect at sunrise, but it appears this was taken after 10:30am. The second thing is kind of nit picky, but I think it could make this a better image. You have a small dust bunny at the 12:00 position just off the top of the frame and both corners have some strange color artifacts in the blues. I am not sure if you did some cloning or added canvas, but there seems to be a slight color difference in the blues at the corners and this might show more on a print, so thought I should point it out since you are selling it.
