One more shot of Deva when she was less than one year old but already perfectly at home on Thompson Pass.

Beautiful puppy in a beautiful setting! The diffused light works really well to balance the contrast.

From the thumb, I was thinking puppy, but she's still very big (or maybe that's ...already very big ). The shade on the dog really lets the details in her coat and the land at her feet show well and the scattered sun in the background makes the location very inviting. Can I come up and play?

Gary, I love your Thompson Pass photos! Good diffuse light helps balance the dynamic range found so many places in Alaska. Deva is a beautiful dog, The shadows in her thick fur really bring out the detail.
