This is Maddie, another rescue dog from SC who we adopted in February at 5 weeks old. More info on here can be found here.
This shot was taken indoors with natural light only, coming from behind the camera. Photos details;
This is also my first post with the new rich text editor and I must say I like it!![]()

8 commentsJim, that's a huge AWWWWW pose. Those adoring eyes are just wonderful and going b&w really lets them dominate. (Yeah, I remember from a previous post that Maddie is black and white to begin with but it works well here.) Pretty amazing to me that you got rescue dogs from SC up to NH.
The eyes definitely have it in this portrait, Jim! B&w was an obvious choice for this dog also. A very cute little dog that looks like it has a lot of personality. I'm very happy to hear that you have multiple rescue dogs!
Hi Jim.
The contented look Maddie gives, is enough for me to know that this is one happy dog... the eyes express perfect happiness and joy... love this presentation.

Great pose, Jim.
LOVE this one, Jim! B&W is sweet but the pose/moment captured is perfect! I also like the slight vignette, whether natural or introduced in post (methinks the former). Those eyes are workin' me over!
Loved this one the first time I saw it, Maddie gets better every time I see her
Some great improvements in the site, thank you Jim!
Waht a gorgeous image. I think the black and white conversion fits the image very well. The little bit of color in the original image might have been a little distracting. I wish you all the best with this lovely dog. Every animal deserves a good life.
Hi Jim, What a sweet pose, loving those eyes and nose. My Gracie is a rescue, gotta love them, they definitely love us.
