Smoky Nautilus

I used an older photo of a nautilus shell that I had taken some years ago and blended it with a textured, painted background.

Comments and suggestions welcome. Thanks in advance.

You've got some wonderfully gentle shapes and colors here, Kathy. Well done. I would try some burning in the upper left to even out the tones, but I'm not sure it would be an improvement because the ulc to lrc shift in brightness adds some extra eye movement.

Works beautifully, Kathy - a lovely, soft, sensuous image, perfectly composed. The variations in colour are most attractive.

Nice blend!  The symmetry of the shell is attractive...then adding the second layer gives this a glow and translucency...very appealing.   Congrats!
