Pretty harsh light. I could wish for more detail in the blacks. I like the wing spread and detail on the back of the goose. :smile:

Nice view of the wingspan on this Canada Goose Lucy. It would have been great if it would have turned and looked at you while it was showing off.

Nice wing position, Lucy, and I like the feeling of the image. I think a little bit lower perspective would help convey the feeling even better, and a higher shutter speed might have stopped the wings. You don't mention your iso, but unless it's pretty high already, the 5DII can handle a pretty high one. Sometimes I don't mind a bit of blur to the wings, but I think this image would be better with the blur of the left wing removed.
