I like the over the shoulder look of this guy (gal?). Processed using Lightroom 5 and Photoshop CC 2014. I removed a few distracting twigs behind the subject.

Canon 7D Mark II
Canon 200-400 f4 L IS
1/160s
f7.1
ISO 160
Focal Length 560mm (Teleconverter Engaged)

Very nice image Jerry. Too bad about the twig directly behind the birds head as it really detracts from the subject.

Lovely look at this Junco, Jerry. You've got excellent details in the bird and the head turn works well with your placement in the frame.

Jerry I really like this, the feather detail in junco is very nice. I believe it's a male, the females are more brown than gray Great pose and background too. Regarding the twig behind his head; Although I don't think its terribly distracting you might try to clone it away or add some blurring to soften it. Nice job! :toast:

Impressive detail and I agree it is a sweet pose. A more complimentary background would have really made this sharp image pop. Nice work.
