Fox squirrel

While I was photographing a line back cow for the zoo this free roaming fox squirrel insisted on posing for me. It was sitting on a post beside the New Guinea Singing dog exhibit. It was cold, so the dogs were staying inside in the warmth of their den. If it had been warmer the dogs would have been waiting for the squirrel to enter their exhibit and try to get out!

Hi John,

Cute little devil. Great eye contact and stare here. A bit of a shame about the brightness of the background (and how it impacted on the rendering of the individual hairs above the back and head), but still a fun image. There seem to be some stray objects by the lower left corner that you might want to clean up.

Cheers...
