Trapped bubbles

My last one for this weekly challenge. I liked the bubbles that were trapped in this piece of ice, so I placed it so that the sun would lit it from the back. This is a focus stack of fourteen photos to get the front array of bubbles in focus.

1/1000, f/11, ISO 200, 100 mm macro lens.

It's a neat view, Roel. Has me thinking about viewing microbes through a microscope. I expect (especially that big one near the top) them to start swimming around. The warmth of the background works well here.

Hi Roel :wavey: Love the pattern of bubbles. and their delightful detail... .The golden light from the sun adds to the beauty of the image..
