Cute Coot pictures seem to be ever popular so I thought I’d post this one. The coot is standing in shallow water and the overhead shot produced some distortion, notably to it’s breast. Accordingly I reduced the width of the breast to a more acceptable perspective. I made no alterations to the bird’s size 14’s!

This looks tack sharp to me David, especially in the LP. Of course compositionally I would prefer a lower POV, but tech wise this looks very nice. :toast:

Nice look at those feet that you don't usually get. The techs look good. The steep angle is not ideal, but if it were lower you probably would not have had as good a look at those monster feet. Well done.

I have never seen these feet before but have heard about them. Wow, no wonder it is so hard for them to get out of the water and fly. Well done :toast:

I like the pose and the view of the feet. Detail looks sharp.

Although this is a POV that normally wouldn't work for me , in this case it works excellently showing these amazing feet ! Well done, Hans
