Usually a typically swiss landscape scene between switzerland's major cities.....a lot of farming land, forest, fields and pastures, a lot of fences, roads, highways and so on...not something a landscape photographer dreams of.....but whenever the conditions are perfect, and sometimes in winter they are when we have heavy snowfall, it can get as photogenic as in this picture here. Taken end of december 2014 during our heavy snowstorm

I like how the smaller tree on the right stands apart from the other two. and the ridge behind is faintly outlined. The brighter orange spot on the right trunk is slightly eye catching. This should look equally as nice as a B&W. Nicely done Bill.

Well captured Bill, snow or mist can very effectively transform a pretty boring landscape into a beautiful photo, like this one. No nits!

This minimalist view of these three trees works very well, Roland. It's held together nicely by the near match in tone between the snow on the ground and the sky.

Love these kinds of shots. Matt's been doing a handful successfully recently. This one works. I know you cant get separation of all the trees but maybe doesnt matter too much. For some reason I always want to see these square (or pano)... Nice catch!

Love the simplicity of this composition. Not too sure about what looks like a pile of sticks by the tree on the right. I think I would remove it. Great shot as posted.

Another wonderful image, Bill. I like the composition and love the quiet lonely mood of winter this has. It looks and works great!

Nicely done Bill. A great, simple comp with a subtle wintry mood. I would like to see a bit more separation between the left and center tree, but by the looks of it would be impossible with this set. I think the room at the top does wonders for the mood of this image
