Here's an alternate view to a picture that I posted in macro last month. In this case I'm a bit further away and viewing from a different angle. With two weeks of very cold (at least for here) weather and recent snow, I haven't seen into my ponds recently. Before that, the cold had "frosted" most of the lily leaves, dulling the colors so I don't expect to see colors like this until new growth starts. This is a 7 shot stack for edge to edge sharpness. (5D3, 100mm macro IS, 0.8s, f/18, iso 200, tripod and cable release)

Feels like I'm just repeating myself... But this is another beauty Mark, I really like the effect of the colors caused by the leafs,

The beautiful colors from the leaves beneath the ice surface make this look like a stained glass abstract. Very nice.

Wow! That's the most colorful ice I've ever seen! The glossy surface of the ice tells me it was relatively warm when you shot this. Very striking abstract ice image and perfect for the challenge, Mark :toast: :toast:
