Could not resist posting zebra stripes. This is from a scan of a 645 transparence taken at the Indianapolis Zoo several years ago, as one of the photos for the zoos calendar. The full frame is of the zebra colt nursing.

This close up look at all of the stripes works well, John. You found a good pattern here with the transition from mom's to baby's stripes.

Nice composition on this one John, and I like how you have balanced the large stripes so they are "flaying" out on either side from the center. Including the colt's stripes adds a lot of interest. So, we have zebras and giraffes...I might have some leopard spots filed away somewhere...
