You have a beautiful composition and really great light throughout the falls, that make it look like it is coming out the darkness. I see some color noise, though. Beautiful image nonetheless.

Does have some noise, but I like the SS you have chosen for this. My favorite part is the lower right stream ribbons.

Really like the darker tones in the bottom half, with the waterfall seeming to disappear into the darkness. Has a real abstract feel which works very well.

The appearance of the water shooting down with intense power is great, as captured with a perfect SS. Looks 'frozen in time', with those 'icicles' caught mid-fall. Nice work!

This is interesting, Daniel. The water appears almost ghostly. The overall dark appearance enhances this mood and lends it to a sense of mystery.

I can feel the power and hear the roar. Lovely shutter speed and drama.

Interesting shapes in the water, definitely the right shutter speed for that! There seems to be some color noise, so I'm guessing the exposure is cranked up in PP, since this was at ISO200?

Hi Daniel,
There is power here, but also a sense intimate of delicacy for me.
I enjoy the choice of getting close and framing the image up in a way that we can enjoy the shapes an tones of the falling water.
Others have mentioned the color noise, other than that this image is very beautiful and very nicely captured.

I agree with Ryan here. The falls have a gentle lacy quality to me. Like a bride's veil. Beautifully done using the darker background to make the water more prominent.

I was there 2 days ago and there was far too much water to make a composition such as this.

Yes, Igor, lots more water now. I captured this as part of a much wider view of the falls, (this shot very underexposed). When I saw this isolation, I had to go with it, but that meant a big-time crop and an exposure push, hence the noisiness despite the best efforts of Lightroom. I went back last week to try it with the right framing and iso, but way too much water.

Aside from the aforementioned heavy color noise issues, this is a rockin' shot Daniel. BTW, we have to hook up this year... :)

Very cool abstract quality.  I also was distracted a bit by the color noise.  But very nice shot.
