A couple weeks ago I posted a Devils Punchbowl image inside the Punchbowl looking out the Ocean cave opening.
This is at the entrance to enter the Punchbowl, Ocean opening cave on the mid right.
Again, you would only go in at extreme low tide and calm ocean......

I really like the abstract look of the rock shape and colors. The white water is a bit of an eye magnet for me, but otherwise, works quite well.

I like the composition, color, light, shapes and textures in this image. The water is a bit of a distraction. Overall a very nice image.

Nice composition. Like the combination of abstract shapes and the prominent strength of the rock arch.

It's nice too see this from an opposite POV. I find it hard to get footing in the image. Perhaps that makes it work. I imagine it would nuts in high tide.

Interesting bit of optical illusion, Dan, as the bright area near the center dances forward and back. I also like the lead in of the sand and rocks.

Hi Dan,

This is such a cool view, and the colors and textures are so sweet to take in. I find this to be such a beautiful study in rock shapes, color, and texture.

Really good work on this image

Fresh air for me in this forum! Here in Italy and european forums all go crazy for the so called "street" genre, and nature, beauty, detail, sharpness are considered as bad things.....
Also here I find a great stuff of aestethic qualities: composition, colours, sharpness, and that "abstract AND natural" appeal....
Very fine. All the best,
sandro
