I don't usually photograph people, but thought the gent and the old barber pole made for an interesting image.

Cloned out a couple of flyers attached to the iron doors.

Reminds me a bit of some of the old photos Ansel Adams took of geezers in the depopulating rural towns. With people we have to work with what we have, his resting pose is a valid one with the surroundings.

Really neat image, Preston. I think that what I like most is its timelessness - I think removing the posters did the trick, this picture could have been taken yesterday or 50 years ago. For some reason, I am always attracted to images where the either the sense of spatial scale or temporal scale is hard to pin down.
