Lower

Given Brad's point about a lower viewpoint, here is an older image.
This was one was taken from our own vehicle a Toyota Prado (which is very comfortable and quiet (with a pop up roof if required).
In the back seat with the window open and a bean bag you are not even 1 meter high.
Taken in Etosha National Park, Namibia at Gemboksvlakte waterhole, this male was on its way to visit his pride, who were upsetting all the other animals by sleeping at the waterhole.

Nice< Ken. This is now one of my "favorites" of yours. He really stands out in the image as the background fades and blurs in the distance. Well done.

I like the low point of view - but also the great focus on the lion and excellent contrast with the background.

Hello Ken

Well done, looks interesting with the remains visible on the surrounding ground.

The large image is impressive. Wow,, those are big legs and feet. A sobering image.
And yes, that's a good point of view. I like that you are level with him.

Very nice, Ken. The eye level perspective and his solid stance make this quite strong. His ruffled mane adds a sense of personality, too. Although natural, I would ideally wish to have him not pose in the field of dung, but that is the only minor nit I can find. I like the dof control which adds the soft layered look to the background.
