Out very early this morning. We had some fresh snow yesterday and the moon was just starting to wane. so it was very bright. This is a favorite place to photograph and I have been trying to shot it in all kinds of different circumstances. I like the B&W. Thanks for you comments and critiques.

Great photo IMHO  I do like your technique for this photo. The star trails give this image just the right drama to make it an exceptional image IMHO. Thanks for sharing.

B&W is excellent, and the old farmhouse makes for a very beautiful composition :toast:

Beautiful shot, but the swirl of stars effect is so strong and has been done so often it doesn't really add anything to this particular image of a lonely house. A static sky star field would have been more visually complimentary to the subject matter in this case I feel.

Beautiful and stark scene. Love the star trails and the old beaten down house. B&W looks a bit flat (mostly in the foreground) so you may want to blast it with some contrast or adjust the "levels"

I really like the scene, with the formations in the background and the old abandoned house. The star trails are not doing much for me, but that is just me. Not really my thing. It is done well for the technique.

This is an excellent black and white. I think I even like this more than the colors image of the same location.

Richard: Wonderful scene and I like the conversion. I like the star trails but wonder if your exposure was 20 minutes instead of 20 seconds. I can't imagine trails that long on a 20 second exposure. Congrats on the WP. >=))>
