Really nice capture, Allen. I love Widgeons. I always try to get a pair together, but rarely succeed. Both are in relatively sharp focus, but stopping down would have helped in this area. You had a little shutter speed to trade off. I understand not going above ISO 400 with the 7D. That was pretty much my limit with the 7D. I do see a little noise in the background that you could easily take care of. I also think the saturation is a little too much. The light looks great and the water is really nice. A couple of tweaks and this could be a real winner.

Nice capture of the pair. Trading some shutter speed for DOF might have improved this slightly. Image seems slightly over saturated?

Nice pair of widgeons. Pleasing light and enough DOF to pull it off. As noted so far, the colors look over-saturated.

Hi Allen, I think if you pull back on the saturation some this will be an awesome capture. And I also could see some noise visible but maybe you can run some NR on BG. The ducks are both reasonably sharp and the color palette is very nice, Great scene, well done!
