Red White & Blue

The clear blue sky seemed a good BG for these crab apples and frost. The sun was starting to hit the frost which was quickly melting. The crab apples are not at their best, but still found them worth photographing with the frost and sky.

Gorgeous red, white, and blue color, John. Kudos on using the sky as the bg. The hoarfrost is well rendered. Fine image.

John, the strong reds against the clear blue sky work very well here. That's an fine amount and distribution of frost. Your comp. is top notch.

Colors are great. Should have waited and posted this on the 4th of July as a cool respite to the heat. This is really nice.

A very jolly image, John - the sky absolutely makes a fine background for a nice capture of the frost textures.

John, I love this. The red, white and blue is awesome. I don't browse out of avian as much as I should but I'm glad I did. Outstanding! :toast:

I echo all the other's kudos and note that I think the condition of the crap apples lend to the story line of the frost condition. Well done!
