Hi Luke:

I like the pose of the Osprey on the tree stump. I'm not a big fan of plain sky backgrounds, but that is what you had that day so not much you could change there.

I'd like to see a crop that removes at least half, probably more, of the negative space above the osprey. For me, that space doesn't add to the image.

There is also a color difference between the two images. I'm going to hazard a guess that you uploaded the 1200 px version as an sRGB image and let the NPN software generate the smaller 720 px version? If so, that software conversion does not embed an sRGB profile in the smaller version and you'll see the difference (more pronounced on some images).

Keith,

You are correct with respect to the color and the post. For color sensitive images I'll remember to do two images like I had done previously.

Thanks for the feedback - I think the blue appeals to me a lot because we just got 2 feet of snow and there have been a lot of cloudy and grey skies here on Long Island haha

Very nice capture here. I like the blue sky, however, I would crop a bit off the top. Well done.

nice perch and pose, Luke. I agree that a lot of the blank space at the top could be cropped.

Hi Luke, my comments pretty much echo Keith's. I wish for a bit tighter crop and would like to see most of the canvas sacrificed on the top sky. I personally think this might work better as a 5x4 crop.
