Similar to my past PA post - this one wasn't really modified, but the resulting image doesn't fit any other category and it's certainly artistic, so I'll put it in here!

Taken with an underwater Nikon P&S (above water) in Jupiter Fl.

Excellent comp and I like seeing the starfish through the ripples in the water. In the larger version my overactive imagination almost sees a face with two eyes, a mouth, and hair on the top of the head on the top portion of the starfish!

Hi Luke,

Hope all is well with that snow. I like the texture of this image as the image a nice grainy feel to it which is perfect for a starfish. The placement of the starfish is perfect for this composition.........................Jim

Hi Luke, although natural, the textures in the water certainly 'look' as if they could have been generated digitally with some kind of filter - that in itself is really neat. The vertical works very well.

The image would also stand strong as a square without what looks like a second starfish at the bottom, however, that one pumps up the intrigue value a whole lot, just cuz it's there, but it's not.... :toast:
