Mark's recent ice abstract reminded me of this one that I took a couple of years ago, so I decided to post it.
145 mm, f/18, 4 s, ISO 200, polarizer.
C&C welcome, large version is included.

You've definitely got some great lines here, Roel. Lots of fine details that definitely show best in the larger version. The subtle hint of blue along the top (presumably a reflection from the sky) is a fine extra touch. I keep going back and forth on adding some additional contrast...after spending some time viewing, I think that the lower right looks fine, but the upper left could use some more contrast.

Beautiful Roel - the lack of scale allows one to imagine a microscopic view or the surface of an alien icy planet seen from space. The feathery details on some of the long ice crystals are particularly appealing!

Cool patterns!! I like this a lot. I would consider boosting the contrast quite a bit and taking even more abstract. But that is my take and it looks good as presented.

I agree with Harley regarding the contrast, Roel. You might consider increasing the separation in the mids and bringing up the lights a bit. The blacks look pretty good. I really like the composition and the abstract nature of this.

I think this would sell well as a huge fine art piece. Nice going.

Great detail and shapes in this Roel. Makes a very nice abstract. Good find.

I like the comp, but it seems flat. I could see trying to emphasize the colors and textures more.
